I was pleasantly surprised by how sturdy the bamboo feels compared to cheaper steamers I've used before. The handles make it easy to lift out even when the pot is full of boiling water. Perfect for a quick batch of dumplings or broccoli.

The handles are long enough that I can lift it out of a deep pot without burning my knuckles, which was my biggest fear before. My broccoli came out perfectly tender in about six minutes, and it's sturdy enough that I don't worry about it tipping over.

The handles really do make all the difference—I can lift the whole basket out of the pot without burning my fingers, and it holds a decent amount of veggies for a quick steam. Never thought a steamer basket would feel this practical.
