I was a bit nervous about buying a ceramic piece online, but the way the white glaze lets the brown clay peek through is even more beautiful in person. It sits perfectly on my desk and catches the light differently depending on the time of day.

The uneven glaze and slight warp make it feel like a tiny artifact dug up from another era, not something mass-produced. I keep it on my desk just to look at even when nothing's burning—it's that warm, dreamlike presence the photos hinted at.

The kiln-fired texture is what sold me—you can see the raw clay bleeding through the white glaze, and each piece has that slight warp that makes it feel truly hand-made. It’s heavier than I expected, which adds a nice, grounded presence on my shelf.
