I've been using these onions for soups and stir-fries, and their natural sweetness means I need less sugar in my recipes. They hold up well even after long simmering without turning bitter.

I used one in a miso soup last night and it turned almost sweet without any added sugar—the mildness really comes through. Even my kids, who usually pick onions out, ate every bite.

This onion is incredibly sweet, even eaten raw it had almost no bite. It made my curry taste noticeably richer than usual.
