The glazing on this piece has such a rich, deep texture that changes subtly in different light. It feels substantial in the hands, and the rim is finished with an elegant, organic curve.

The way the glaze catches light changes depending on the time of day, which feels like a quiet conversation with the clay. It's clear decades of working with other materials shaped how Kota handles this form — every curve feels intentional.

The piece feels substantial in hand, with a textured surface that catches light beautifully. I’ve been using it as a small vase and it adds a quiet, elegant presence to the shelf.
