The half-round blade slides into packed soil without much effort, which made transplanting my hostas way less of a chore. It's light enough to handle for a full afternoon, and the ash finish still looks clean after a rinse. Digging around roots feels more precise than with my old flat trowel.

The ash handle has a warm, natural feel that makes it comfortable to grip even after an hour of transplanting seedlings. The half-round blade slips into compacted soil with surprising ease, and the whole tool feels sturdy without being heavy.
