極上けづり

The aroma that fills the kitchen when I open the bag is incredible—pure, smoky bonito. It dissolves almost instantly in hot water, giving my miso soup a depth I never got from standard flakes.

I was a bit skeptical about how delicate the flakes would be, but the 極上けづり opened up beautifully in the broth with almost no clumping. A little goes a long way, and the texture is exactly what I was hoping for.

The 極上けづり flakes are so fine and delicate they practically melt on the tongue. I've been adding them to my miso soup and the umami is noticeably deeper than with other brands I've tried.
